Heres an inspirational story for you. Kathleen Ndogmo. 30kg down, and still counting. Yes, 30kg!
She's a Cameroonian, based in Lagos Nigeria.
Here's what this amazing lady who climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro just a few weeks ago, said about her fitness journey.
"Every time I tell majority of people that I lost over 30kgs, the first thing I am asked is: 'What pills did you take?'. Hold on a second. WHY WOULD THIS BE YOUR FIRST QUESTION? What is this mentality most of us have that makes us think that:a) The only way to achieve such weight loss is in a short time with some powerfully assisted drug?b) There is no way she could have done that by herself?Look, this 'quick fix, easy way out' mentality whether it is for weight loss, making money, building a business, or sustaining a loving relationship is ALWAYS detrimental long term. Moity you and Kathleen did not give us tips on how to go about it. Well i have been on IASO natural tea under TLC and in just 2 weeks am 4kgs down. BF is already begging me to take it slowly lol as accodring to him my assets (boobs & Backside) should not be tampered with. Well am loving the journey and within a year I plan to let go of atleast 40kgs. I want to remain bulky though but in a sexier way. Plus take note its natural tea and dieting plus lil workouts must be part of the plan.
Queenie Highly Favoured. Welcome back sweetie. Good to see you again. Pat on the back for your decision to embark on a Weightloss journey. From what I know about losing weight and staying fit, consistence is the key. Make it your lifestyle, not a diet. When on a diet, it's easy to shed the pounds for a GIVEN period, but after that, the weight comes right back, mostly because you adopted draconian measures during dieting, to lose the weight, and then after a while, you go right back to old habits, because the measures you took while dietting are not sustainable for the long term . But if you decide to adopt a healthy lifestyle, eat healthy, exercise regularly, you will definitely not regain the weight you lost.
Don't know about the tea you mentioned. losing 4kg in two weeks is a bit much, but not extreme, just don't try to lose too much weight in a short time, that might not be healthy. Tea (black, green, herbal) is generally good for the body, drinking it could increase your metabolism, which will intern help you burn fat faster. Ensure it's not a laxative tea, which will constantly purge, that's not healthy.
In all my dear, I'm proud of you for joining the fit family.
