Stanley Enow Banned From Kiss FM Airwaves

The management of Kiss FM in Yaounde has banned the rapper and all of his songs from their airwaves. None of Stanley Enow's songs will be played henceforth, nor will he be granted any interviews.

In a terse letter dated Monday July 20, 2015, the Station Manager Jean Vincent Toko, states "From this day onwards, the Artist Stanley Enow and all his works, are banned from appearances and broadcast on the airwaves of Kiss FM Radio, until further notice".
The letter does not state reasons for this measure, but the site Cameroon-info.net contacted Jean Vincent Toko who says the rapper's arrogance has brought about this.
He adds that there have been complaints from several radio presenters to whom the artist is said to have been disrespectful.
Stanley Enow was a live guest on Canal 2's "C Comment" show. In the course of the interview, the artist blatantly told the interviewer Comedian Moussa Jean Kalagan, "je ne le cache pas, je ne vous aime pas" (i'm not going to hide this, i dont like you). Stanley also declared during the interview that he is not "friends" with Dynastie Le Tigre, a fellow artist he has collaborated with.

This irked radio/tv personality Tchop Tchop, who in solidarity with Moussa Kalagan suggested during his morning talk show on Sweet FM radio, that the rapper be banned from the airwaves in Cameroon, and appologize for his comments.

Which Stanley apparently did, during a press conference on June 30 2015 in Douala, where he explained that he had a professional collabo with Dynastie.

This did not seem to be sufficient for the Kiss FM Station manager who says he wants the rapper to "solemnly present an appology, as well as to the colleagues whom he has offended".
Cameroon-info.net also contacted Stanley Enow's manager, Didier Kouamo, yesterday evening, but he was unavailable for comment.

How this move will affect the rapper's new album, "Soldier Like my Papa" to be released at the end of this month, is yet to be seen.
But like they say in show biz, all publicity (whether negative or positive), is good publicity.

It serves him right.Stanley Enow should not think Cameroon is America where that sort of thing is accepted. Those same people he is shading left, right and center are the same people who made him what he is now.You don't bite the finger that feeds you.Francophone social media is so mad at him.If I was him I would swallow my pride and make things right.

Fame has gotten into his head, he will soon fade away, sadly. Look at people like PSQUARE and 2 Face from Nigeria, they have stayed relevant for a decade+ due to their humility.

I hope the PR company does something with Stanley. Sorry don't get his music, and also he always comes across like he is high and arrogant. Reading this am not surprised.
