Accident Along Douala Edea Highway leaves Four Dead

Four people have died and three others injured, after a frontal collision between a taxi from Douala, and a bus of the Buca Voyages agency on its way to Douala.
According to Crtv National Station, the accident which occurred at 11am, Saturday July 18, 2015, in Sikoum, a few kilometers from Edea, was caused by wrong overtaking.

The driver of the taxi, which had seven passengers, attempted an abusive overtaking move, and came face to face with the bus, which was completely out of its lane.
The frontal collision resulted in the death of four passengers of the taxi,including the driver, identified as Ngatchou Fatchou.



The three injured victims were rushed to the Edea Regional Hospital annex. The four dead are in the morgue of the same hospital.
So Sad!
