13 people were killed Sunday night in Fotokol, Far North Region, when two female suicide bombers blew themselves up, near a camp of the Rapid Intervention Battalion (BIR).
The deceased include 10 civilians, a Chadian soldier deployed in Fotokol, and the two suicide bombers.
The explosions occurred 50 metres apart and within seconds of each other.
