Kenyan President To Obama: Gay Rights is "Really a Non-Issue" in Kenya

Kenya's Uhuru Kenyatta is the second African President in less than two years to reject any consideration of gay rights, as favored by U.S President Barak Obama. Last week, Nigerian President Mohammadu Buhari told Obama during a state visit to the U.S that sodomy is against the law in Nigeria.
Barack Obama who is on a visit to Kenya for the first time since becoming President, spoke strongly against discrimination today at a news conference. Uhuru Kenyatta on his part said Kenya does not share the same views. He described gay rights as "really a non-issue" in Kenya, adding that the country's priorities are in areas "that are day-to-day living for our people".
