This inquest ruling had been eagerly awaited for several weeks now.
Yesterday, July 08, 2015, the judge made his decision known. He has ordered the prosecution of the contractors who constructed the collapsed SCOAN Guest house.
The Synagogue Church of All Nations was indicted for negligence by the coroner's inquest.
This inquest was instituted by the Lagos State government, to investigate the collapse of the guest house. The incident occurred in September 2014, leaving 114 persons dead, many of them South Africans.
The SCOAN has repeatedly maintained its stance that the building collapsed in a manner that led them to believe it was a deliberate act of sabotage.
