Football: John Begheni Ndeh's Candidature Validated For FECAFOOT Regional League Elections

John Begheni Ndeh

Out of the 18 applications recieved by the FECAFOOT Electoral Commission chaired by Joseph Owona, for elections into the regional leagues, six have been invalidated.  Reason? Irrregularities found in the constitution of the lists. The rejected candidates are

Aboubakar Siroma (Adamawa), Joseph Fetcheu (West), Emmanuel  Loga (Littoral), Charles Baninga (East), Atah Robert Bahazah (North West), and Luc Assamba (Centre).

Joseph Owona has explained that they were rejected  because their lists did not meet the stipulated regulations.

Amongst those retained is John Begheni Ndeh, outgoing president of the North West league. Vice president of FECAFOOT during the reign of Iya Mohamed, Mr Begheni Ndeh, is a noted critic of the last year of the Iya Mohamed era, as well as of the current management of the FECAFOOT.

After the elections in the regional leagues, FECAFOOT members are expected in Yaounde on November 29 2014, for the election of the new FECAFOOT president.

The candidates will be known by Novemebr 17 2014.

The list of candidates eligible for elections in the regional leagues is as follows

 Adamawa : Abbo Mohamadou
