Nigerian music über star Davido ( David Adeleke, son of Nigerian billionaire Chief Deji Adeleke and late Dr. Vero Adeleke) is 22 years old today. He's so young and the things he's achieved in his young life make me go wow!
His iconic hits have shot him to a place in stars, hits like "Omo Baba Olowo" (loosely translated 'pipkin wey he papa get money), "Dami Duro", "Gobe", "Skelewu", and this year "Aye"
He's won multiple awards, 6 of them, this year alone, and still counting. They include the African Music Awards(2014), MTV Africa Music Awards(2014), Channel O Music Awards(2012), Nigeria Music Video Awards(2012), Ghana Music Awards(2014), City People Entertainment Awards(2014), etc, etc.
Davido loves working with other young and upcoming artists, ('Nek Unek' with McGalaxy). I sure would love to see him do a collabo with one of our Cameroonian artists, hmmm...Stanley Enoh perhaps, Sine, X-Maleya. #dreamsdocometrue
