First Ever Emergency Center In Sub Region Installed at Yaounde CentralHospital

The Yaounde Central Hospital now has a new Emergency Center, the first of its kind in the whole of the Central African Sub Region. The Emergency Center inaugurated today by the Minister of Public Health, has a capacity of 50 hospital beds, and could take more in a crisis situation.  The center has equipment enabling it to handle extreme emergency cases such as accidents of various nature, and surgical emercencies. It has also been equipped to transport patients medically. The Center was built with technical support from the Republic of Korea

Question : Is the mentality of the staff going to change? Because almost everyone has a horror story of poor health care provision in hospitals, even in emergency units. Accident Patients being allowed to bleed to death on the floor etc.
