13 New SOCATUR Buses Commissioned Today: Baby Steps To Fill Vacuum LeftBy Ban On "Cargo" Buses

The void left by the indefinite Prefectorial ban on "Cargo" buses in Douala, is certainly an immense one to fill. The Societe Camerounaise de Transport Urbain is taking baby steps to fill that vacuum. SOCATUR has acquired 13 new buses for intra-urban transport. The buses will be presented this afternoon to the Government Delegate to the Douala City Council, Dr Fritz Ntone Ntone.
