Uti Nwachukwu Wins Award In The U.S

Uti Nwachukwu has won the Male Viewers Choice Award, at the just concluded 2014 Golden Icons Academy Movie Awards (GIAMA) in Houston, TX. This means Uti was voted by viewers as
 their favorite Male Tv Personality.

He is a popular face in the Nollywood industry, TV co-presenter of "Jara", alongside comedian Helen Paul, and the current host of the African Africa Singing Talent Competition, "Star the Winner is". Uti is perhaps best known for winning Big Brother Africa 5.

Uti's speech as he received the award was quite emotional and prompted Golden Icons to give him a standing ovation. He mentioned Rita Dominic, Desmond Elliot, Moses Inwang, Ramsey Nouah, Susan
Peters, Anita Chris and a few others in his acceptance speech pictured above.
