Wreckage of ill-fated plane
The internationally acclaimed pastor of the "Bahamas Faith Ministries", Dr Myles Munroe, and his wife Ruth, were among the 9 people killed in a plane crash yesterday Sunday November 9 2014.
Tribune242 reports that they were aboard the Lear 36 Executive Jet that crashed on approach to Grand Bahama International Airport around 5 p.m. local time. The plane reportedly struck a crane at the Grand Bahama Ship Yard. The Department of Civil Aviation reported that the plane was completely destroyed.
Those aboard are believed to have been heading to the Global Leadership Forum that Dr. Munroe's church was hosting beginning on Monday. The names of the others on-board have not yet been released.

A source close to former Ambassador Andrew Young, who was scheduled to speak at the forum, tells FOX 5 News that he was supposed to be on that flight, but opted not to go due to the bad weather.
A full investigation of the crash is expected to begin just after sunrise on Monday.
A post on the Myles Munroe International Facebook page says that the conference will go on as planned stating "this is what Dr. Munroe would have wanted.
