Form Five Student Killed In Case of Mistaken Identity

In a twisted turn of events, one young form five student of Lycee de Ngoa Ekelle, Yaounde, was shot dead Sunday night, when himself and two brothers came to the rescue of their aunt. According to reports, the unfortunate young boy came alongside his mother and two brothers, to the rescue of his aunt, a police Commissioner residing in Odja, Yaounde.

The Commissioner's house was broken into by thieves, who proceeded to rape her. Her daughter who was hiding in the room, sent a text to the Commissioner's sister. This sister then called the Rapid Intervention Special Unit, and took her sons to the house. Upon arrival at the commissioner's house, she rang the bell incessantly, while her sons went through the back door. The thieves on hearing the doorbell, pushed the commissioner out of the front door. The Rapid Intervention Unit guys who had just arrived were then informed that the bandits were inside, they got in, and shot at the boys, thinking they were the thieves.

Sadly it was the young boys who had come to the rescue of their aunt. One of them died, another received a bullet in the shoulder and is receiving treatment.
