Unexploded Grenade Discovered In Abandoned Car In Maroua

      
An unexploded grenade was found in a vehicle abandoned in a garage in Maroua at the "Pont Vert" neighborhood on Saturday January 03 2015. According to a report on the news at 1pm on the Crtv National Station, today Sunday Jan. 04 , a young mechanic was the one who found the grenade, in a white vehicle, abandoned in a car garage, where he had gone to scavenge for scrap metal. He alerted the mechanics at the garage, who equally Informed the Douala Rey Gendarmerie Brigade.
The Company Comander of Diamare and his men, bomb disposal specialists of the Military Engineering Corps, the Fire Brigade and Police immediately went to the scene and cordoned it off. An investigation has been opened.
