Oh Oh! Stephane Mbia Suffers Injury During Spanish Championship Match

The captain of the Indomitable Lions team, was injured yesterday Saturday January 03 2015 during a match at the ongoing Spanish Championship. The FC Seville defender was hurt by an unfriendly move by Carles Planas of Celta Vigo at the 22nd minute. Stephane Mbia who spoke with Cameroon-info.net, said he suffered a thigh injury, and would have to undergo a medical check-up tomorrow Monday January 05, to determine if he is fit to play at the upcoming AFCON 2015 in Equatorial Guinea.

This puts his participation at the competition set to begin this month, in doubt. Already, he would have missed the opening Cameroon match at the Africa Cup of Nations, owing to his expulsion on Nov. 19 2014, during the last eliminatory match pitting Cote d'Ivoire against Cameroon.

Given this situation, would you be open to the return of Alexandre Song, cast off the team since his infamous behavior at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil?

Song is a good player and he is in very good form now. What happened in Brazil was just a bad day in the office. He got frustrated and took a stupid card but that doesn't define him. For me bring Song in

this is bad news. i just wish he will be found fit for the competition. i really admire his fighting spirit at the defense line.

This shouldn't be an excuse for song to be brought in. Another substitute should be looked for. Let him understand that his unruly behavior in the World Cup has to be accounted for.
