An armed duo yesterday Tuesday January 13 2015, attempted to rob an Express Union agency at Carrefour Nsam in Yaounde. Reports state that the robbers got into the premises at about 3pm, without being noticed by the security personnel on hand. They subdued the staff on duty and
collected the cash from the teller. Brandishing a pistol, one of the thieves made his way outside, while his accomplice was still inside.
A soldier of the Presidential Guard who was around the area is said to have immediately sprung into action. The armed thief escaped, but his accomplice inside who was in possesion of the looted cash, was caught, and the crowd descended on him. He was subsequently taken to a Police Station where he is being interrogated.

Well done that that soldier guy. Some of these armed thieves should be taught a lesson
