Its True! Gone Too Soon: Nollywood Actor Muna Obiekwe

   

I was really hesitant to put up the news that made the rounds yesterday night Sunday Jan.18 2015, that Nollywood Actor (one of my favourites, I just looooved his dreamy eyes) had died of Kidney failure. Primarily because there were reports that the actor himself took to his twitter page to denounce the rumour. 

But sadly, it is true. I don't know who wrote this on his twitter page, but the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) and some of his colleagues Uche Jombo Rodriguez and Nonso Diobi, have confirmed it.

Here's what Nonso wrote on his Twitter page, plus a pic of the actor in hospital on dialysis.

Reports say he had been battling kidney failure for a while now, but was handling it quietly. However he hadn't been able to go for dialysis for two weeks now, owing to financial concerns. He had been planning a stage play to raise money just before his death. He collapsed at home yesterday and was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

 I'm just so sad!!
