Fire Destroys Dozens Of Shops In Bonamoussadi Market in Douala

It's going to be a sad end of year for some traders at the Bonamoussadi market in Douala. A fire broke out in the market last night Friday November 28, at about 11pm. Most of the over 30 shops which were destroyed in the section where chicken is sold, but the fire is also reported to have destroyed 10 Boutiques dealing in ready-made clothing.
It took the determined population and firefighters about 3hours to put out the raging flames. Initial estimates put the damage at about FCFA100 million. 
The cause of the fire has not yet been established, but this is not he first time a fire has broken out in the Bonamoussadi market.

why is it that these fire incidents mostly occur towards the end of the year?

may God give it victims the strength to bear this huge lose.
