Five families have been rendered homeless in Mile 16, Bolifamba, on the outskirts of Buea. Reports say the fire outbreak completely razed their plank building to ashes yesterday evening November 20, at about 6.30 pm.

The 8-appartment building owned by one Prudencia Ayuk, was hosting 5 families, a palm oil business store, and a carpentry workshop.
The fire is said to have resulted from a gas bottle leak. The efforts of the neighborhood youths, using sand and water, were not enough to contain the ferocious fire.

Thank God no human life was lost.
