Cameroon Has Qualified For AFCON 2015 Yay!!

Vincent Aboubakar author of lone goal

Malabo here we come!! The Indomitable Lions have just qualified for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations 2015, holding in Equatorial Guinea. The indomitable Lions of Cameroon, have shown their superiority over the Leopards of the Democratic Republic of Congo, beating them, 1-0.
The saving grace came from a pass by Leonie Kwekeu to Vincent Aboubakar at the 70th minute, who transformed it into a beautiful and long awaited goal. A goal reminiscent of the 2nd goal which was scored in the match which took place in the DRC.
Before that, it was a balanced match, with both teams playing equally right up to when team Cameroon distinguished itself.
The match also saw Franck Mbia Etoundi making his debut into the National Team, when he took over from Leonie Kwekeu. It is the first time since 1990 (the Biyik Brothers, François Omam Biyik and André Kana Biyik), that two brothers are playing alongside each other in the National Team, Franck Mbia Etoundi and Stephane Mbia Etoundi.
Go Lions, we are proud of you!
