She who has always been known as "La femme du peuple" (A woman of the People), says she now wants to be known as "Mama Katy". K-Tino who was interviewed on Radio Dunamis in Yaounde this week, said "I am now a woman of the people of Jesus".
K-Tino who gained national fame (or infamy if you like), for her erotic Bikutsi moves, and overtly sexual lyrics, says she is now born again, and even hopes to start an evangelisation ministry named "Celestial City" in Gabon, where she lives with her husband, Vincent Assou.
K-Tino, whose real name is Catherine Edoa Nkou, said she developed cancer, and was
miraculously healed. She added that God chose her and changed her life, and therefore she called on her family and fans to repent also.
She emphasised during the interview that she wasn't creating the church "Celestial City", in order to make money, but to win souls.
Mama Katy who seems to have developed the gift of prophecy as well, revealed that something strange is currently going on in the 'Bastos' neighbourhood. There is a tree which is used to practice surgery, she said, which needs to be felled.
The 48 year old is thought to have changed her lifestyle, after being converted in 2013 at the "Va et Raconte" church founded by Tsala Essomba.

It's good she realized and acknowledged the hand of God in her life. Some do but refuse to accept God.
