He will thus be available for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations holding in Equatorial Guinea, starting on January 17. He certainly will miss out on the first match, having gotten a red card during their final AFCON qualifier with Cote d'Ivoire, and may miss the second match, but not the entire competition.
Cameroon will meet with Mali on Jan. 20, match number two will be against Guinea Conakry on Jan. 24, and the last match will be against Cote d'Ivoire on Jan. 28.
The Lions converge on the Mont Febe Hotel today, to begin their training for the continental competition.

That sounds good to me coz even without the injury he was going to miss the first match anyway. Here is hoping he doesn't get any setback with recovery.
thats good news.
