Over 10 Dead In Accident On Yaounde-Mbalmayo Road

Deadly weekend along the Yaounde-Mbalmayo road.
Over 10 persons lost their lives Yesterday evening around 5pm in Essazok.
A road transport bus belonging to the 'Buca Voyages' agency, had a deadly collision with a heavy duty truck. Most of the dead were from the bus, while both of the drivers died
The victims have been transferred to the Yaounde Central Hospital.
A friend's husband was travelling from Yaounde to Ebolowa and he saw the carnage along the way, he fears more people may have lost their lives due to the horrific nature of the crash.
Something doesn't add up.
This accident according to the gendarmes on the scene, occurred around 5pm. Late last year, the Minister of Transport reiterated the ban on heavy duty trucks from the highways during the day, after the truck accident in Biyemassi left many dead.
What was that truck doing on the highway?

I guess the solution is getting the responsible ministers to ensure better road infrastructures and driving securer cars.

oh not again. How many people are going to perish before a lesson is learnt. Just wish the law about trucks not allowed on the roads during the day was respected. How sad

Yet Another accident. People let us pray oh. Hmm. There were few no accidents recorded in the notorious month of December. But this January and February, we haven't stopped hearing of them. The devil is changing tactics to adapt. He knows that people intensify prayers at some periods and relax at others. People, let us keep praying at all times.
Meanwhile, government, do your work.
Imagine in the other post where a human life was lost due to a pothole. True, the man may have been over speeding, (people, over speeding kills) but if there were no potholes, he probably would not have lost control like that.
