Nurse Triggered Cardiac Arrests to Practice his "Excellent"Resuscitation Skills

This guy is such a a psychopath. Hmmm, may evil medical staff never cross our paths IJN.

Accused: German nurse Nils H, whose identity is partly protected, claims to have killed up to 30 patients by using a restricted medicine to trigger cardiac arrests so he could practice his resuscitation skills

A German nurse who claims to have killed up to 30 patients has told how he triggered cardiac arrests in dozens of patients because he enjoyed resuscitating them.
Nils H, whose full name can't be reported because of German privacy laws, said he administered Gilurytmal - a medication only to be used by doctors under strict conditions - to 90 patients, 30 of which died.
The nurse is facing charges in three murders and two attempted murders in Germany.
But the state prosecutor has told the Oldenburg regional court that H could be involved in more than
150 deaths. The state want him jailed for life.
The prosecutor is investigating the deaths of 174 patients who died during the nurse's shifts between 2003 and 2005 in Delmenhorst, near Breman.
Deaths that occurred at H's previous jobs in Oldenburg and Wilhelmshaven will also be looked at and dozens of bodies will be exhumed.

Prosecutors said the 38-year-old had told them that he was bored and wanted to practice his "excellent" resuscitation skills.
The court was told that if H's first attempt at resuscitation was successful, he would sometimes try again.
Nils H was sentenced to seven-and-a-half years jail for the attempted murder of a patient in 2008. He had given a patient an overdose of heart medication which nearly killed him.

The death rate in the Delmenhorst clinic where H worked nearly doubled while he worked there. Heart medication use there also increased.
But despite this it took nearly a decade before an investigation was launched.
In September, a senior doctor gave evidence describing H as a 'passionate medic', but said "I found it strange" the nurse was always at hand when patients needed resuscitation.

A lawyer for the clinic has been quoted as saying that no one wants to believe that a colleague "would rather kill patients, instead of helping them".
