The above team, FC Mounana, held The Indomitable Lions to a goalless draw Wednesday night in Libreville. That match with the Gabonese First Division team, was the last of the 3 friendly matches played by the Lions. The team did not win any of these preparatory matches.
Meantime, the South African team, the Bafana Bafana gave Mali a 3-0 defeat last evening at the Monedan Stadium, during a friendly match. Mali is the first team which Cameroon will meet at the Africa Cup of Nations.
Another team that received a thrashing during a preparatory match is Guinea (another of Cameroon's group D adversaries), who was humiliated by Senegal 5-1. That match was played in Casablanca, in Morocco.
