So scary, all these stories of nannies and baby-sitters hurting children. And now, the worst has happened, a housemaid in Abuja has killed a 3 year old girl she was taking care of. This because she was not allowed to go home for christmas.
Well, a Nigerian celebrity, Wale Gates, has some sympathy for the maid. Heres what he said on his Instagram page

these nannies r becomx so dangerous. but i honestly believe that what they receive is what they give to the children.
am NOT saying it is right for a nanny to maltreat an innocent baby to the point of killing,but what is wrong with mothers always looking for young girls to take care of their babies?Most of these young girls don't have patience and are often lazy and inexperienced.
Another nanny's despicable act this time tpok away the life of an innocent defenceless child. Hhhm. Words fail me
Some women treat their house helps like slaves. Some of them don't draw s line between baby sitting and house keeping. They will except the poor girls to do the things they are not capable of doing themselves like looking after the baby and the same time running the house. And are ready to pounce on them when they make mistakes. I know how frustrating that can be. But taking it on a poor little baby is not justified. It is hurting the wrong person, . my advice to the maids is that if u are unhappy at the job please walk away, don't stay and be driven into battery or murder the little innocent and defenceless baby you are supposed to love.
