The auctioning of the Autographed Tennis racket used by Serena, who wore the colours of the Cameroon flag at the French open, was one of the highlights of the reopening of the Cameroon National museum. The funds raised will go towards its development and sustainability.
Yesterday's official reopening of the National Musuem, was done in style, a gala, whose theme was the rain forest. The cultural habitats of the Cameroonian people was put on display, depicting the peaceful coexistence between man and nature.
The event offered guests the opportunity to unwind, savouring the delicacies Cameroon has to offer, while listening to music by the greats like grammy award winner, Dionne Warwick.

Several Cameroonian artists including my fav Afro-pop boy band, X-Maleya, and MTV Award Winner, Stanley Enoh thrilled the guests at the after party .

The national musuem is henceforth open from Tuesdays to Sundays, 10am to 6pm. Entry fee depends on the category. For grown-ups, a ticket costs 4000frs cfa
