D'banj Features In Wax Dey's New Video

Wax, I go send you ma bill after this publicity, you hear? Lol, just kidding. More wax to your elbows oh!!!
Wax Dey has released both the audio and the video of his new single, Makossa. The new song which is a career defining hit for Wax was complemented by a top notch video with great cameo appearances including D’Banj. You will recall that Wax's last single, Forever featuring Omawumi was released by D'Banj's DB Records and Lolhiphop.
Makossa is a definite club banger and Wax Dey has
described it as an ‘underrated genre’ that has contributed immensely to urban music of today all over the world. The music video was shot as part of his Reality TV Show concept, ‘Number One Girl’. The show searches for Cameroonian girls with star power and gives them a platform to express their talents while entertaining the public as they live together and compete against each other. The video will also serve as part of the promotion of the second season of his primetime television show which will start airing next month in Cameroon.

The Cameroonian singer and activist who was named as one of Africa’s Top 35 people under 35 in 2014 by Young People in international Affairs (YPIA) due to his creativity and ingenuity recently received in Lagos the AFRIMA Best Collaboration in Africa award plaque for Cocoa Na Chocolate on behalf of ONE, the executive producer of the song and all the artistes that featured in the song including Wax.

In 2014, Wax Dey also became the first Cameroonian to appear and perform in the Big Brother Africa house when he visited the Hotshots finalists for an electrifying dinner performance on the eve of the finals.

You need to be careful. You copy a lot of things from other peoples blogs. What is the point of having a blog if you cannot write a fresh story from scratch. I knew something was suspicious as no one person can post these many articles in one day if they are blogging by themselves, be a mom and have a job alone. Now I see why. It is because you copy and then credit it to them. Please try to create your own stories from scratch. This thing that everyone wants to start blogging has just been abused. Chai

She does not only copy and give credit. Sometimes she copies and pastes without any credit to anybody. I thought I was the only one who noticed. Since everyone wants to blog

You guys get the fuck off her back. Tell me which of all the mainstream generalist blogs which you spend your time on, have original content. Which of them? Linda, Laila,Stella, cameroononline? They all source for stories from around the web, and put them up for our reading pleasure. I see these generalist bloggers as COLLECTORS. If Moity had a specific subject to blog about, she would have started a blog about shoes, or fish, or parenting or something. But her banner clearly states it, news, entertainment, Kongossa etc.
Strangely enough, this post draws attention to the success of a Cameroonian artist. Rather than celebrate him, you guys are chasing shadows and leaving substance.
And you Canisia...SMH for you. You really are a piece of work

My God u Cameroonians are pathethic. Stop the criticism and and go to the other blogs with authentic stories. Nigerian blogging has grown over the years due to collaboration.most of the stories by LINDA, Stella, Laila, uche Eze and more are copied from the web. Stella and Bella Naija collaborate alot on stories. I just discovered this blog and i like reading the stories even if i read them before on the other blogs. why not celebrate WAX who is the subject of this article. issshhhhh. wona tire man ya.

Haters gonna hate no matter what. If copying and pasting was that easy I would have started my own blog. People try to appreciate what this girl goes through to bring us interesting stories every day. I go online most times during the day but what I read on this blog is always refreshing. I follow many blogs but this has a bit of everything. AchuD u are so right. I couldn't write it any better. Here on this blog we get hard news, quartier news , , fun times et al. What do we want from Moity. People get a life

Angele and anony, the ting pass ma power. I have a hunch these trolls are failed Cameroonian bloggers who don't understand how one who started blogging yesterday is garnering this much attention, while they have been there since the last decade are hanging on by the skin of their teeth. You complain, but keep coming back. Dem bury wuna placenta for here? It's not up to your standard, move on.
I'm taking this personally cos I PERSONALLY know what it means to start an endeavour and give up Becos of BAD BELLE. It's easy to give up. Especially in the early stages. Criticism is good, but you catch more flies with honey rather than vinegar.
To the author of this blog, I say don't give up, and also, don't bother answering anyone, and to the trolls, keep the comments coming, its all gud cos the more the merrier.
