Stephane Mbia Joins Turkish Club Trabzonspor

            Turkish side Trabzonspor signs Stéphane Mbia

Former Queens Park Rangers and Sevilla midfielder Stéphane Mbia joins Turkish side Trabzonspor on a three-year deal and free transfer according to an announcement made on the club’s website Saturday night.It had been speculated that the 29-year-old Cameroonian defensive midfielder was on
the verge of signing for Inter Milan. Mbia had been playing his trade at Spanish side Sevilla for the past two seasons, winning back-to-back Europa League titles. He had joined the Andalusian outfit on loan from the relegated Premier League side Queens Park Rangers.
29-year-old Stéphane Mbia had flown to Turkey in mid-June and met with club officials.

Trabzonspor showcases a star-studded squad – including the likes of former Benfica striker Oscar Cardozo, Jose Bosingwa, and Kevin Constant – but have failed to put up a challenge for the Turkish championship, finishing a mere 5th place.
