the verge of signing for Inter Milan. Mbia had been playing his trade at Spanish side Sevilla for the past two seasons, winning back-to-back Europa League titles. He had joined the Andalusian outfit on loan from the relegated Premier League side Queens Park Rangers.
29-year-old Stéphane Mbia had flown to Turkey in mid-June and met with club officials.
