The former Minister of Public Works Dieudonne Ambassa Zang remains in hiding, but is closely monitoring events in the country pertaining to him. Sentenced to life imprisonment by the Special Criminal Court yesterday afternoon for embezzlement, he has promptly reacted, saying that this move is meant to
"eliminate" him from the Cameroonian political landscape.
In a press release dated Thursday June 18, and signed by him, Dieudonne Ambassa Zang describes the court ruling as a fraudulent proceeding, defying logic, law, and facts. He equally appealed for help to restore his rights,dignity and honour.
