Mani Bella will perform at the opening ceremony with heavy weights on the African music scene, Fally Ipupa, Singula, and the Toofans.
As for the Lions, who were supposed to have travelled to Gabon last night, it is whispered that their delay in Yaounde, is owing to the eternal problem of match bonuses. Coach Finke is taking all 24 players to Gabon for the next phase of the preparation. Again, it is whispered that one of the players has issues with his age.
