The independent autopsy requested by the late footballer's father, (Andre Bojongo), which i reported Here, is seemingly beginning to yield fruits. The Algerian Minister of Justice has announced the opening of a judicial inquiry into the death of the JSK player Albert Ebosse. This as an independent pathologist, Dr. Moune Andre, contracted by the player's family revealed that the player was killed after a brutal aggression and signs of a struggle in the locker room. Contrary to the initial report by the Algerians, that Ebosse was killed by a projectile on the field. The autopsy equally showed evidence of a rupture of his cervical vertebrae and a wound on his collar bone that resembled a knife wound.

"It can't be a slate tile, as the Algerians stated in their report, because if someone threw a tile, even at high speed, it couldn't cause such severe wounds like the ones I found on the body,” the independent Pathologist Dr. Moune said in an interview with the BBC. "For such an object to break through into the skull, it needs a heavy strength. The object that hit him came from close range."

The autopsy report has been forwarded to Algerian and Cameroonian authorities, while Ebosse’s family also urge the Confederation of African Football to investigate further.
