Suspected Child Traffickers Arrested In Sop, Bui Division

The children rescued from the suspected couple (photo credit: Cameroon web)

These children pictures above were intercepted by gendarmes in Sop, Bui Division, on Feb. 23, 2015, enroute to the Center Region. They were in the company of a married couple, names gotten as Dairu Sanda, and Agnes Buinda, who were travelling with the kids from Nwa sub-division, in Donga Mantung, North West Region.
The children are said to be aged between 5 and 15 (OMG five years old, Weh!)

The couple claimed the children were relatives whom they were taking to Yaounde to learn a trade. However, investigations show that the suspected traffickers own a cocoa plantation in the Center Region.
The couple is currently cooling their heels in detention in Nkambe, whilst the children were entrusted to the care of the Mayor of Ndu, Emmanuel Bunyui.
