Man Found Dead In Room In Douala

Richard Talla, a carpenter by profession was found dead in his room at the place called “Sable” in the Bonamoussadi neighbourhood on March 1st.
According to some family members, the over 40-year-old separated with friends after having a nice time, returned home and slept like any other person. The carpenter who usually wakes up early from bed was not seen around the compound the next morning. Curiosity gripped family members who went to check if he is all right. As the door was still locked inside, the family members and neighbours knocked and shouted to no avail. As they broke down the door, they saw Talla’s lifeless body on the bed. Family members and neighbours are yet to accept that the carpenter is no more since he did not complain of any form of bad health. The corpse was deposited in a local hospital mortuary and investigation opened by the 12 District Police Station.
