The Indomitable Lions who have taken up residence at the Nomad Hotel in Libreville for the second phase of their training will play a friendly against South Africa's Bafana Bafana tomorrow Sunday January 11. During the course of the training, they will play another friendy against a yet to be determined team.
The Lions will end their training camp in Gabon on the 16th, and immediately head for Malabo on the same day, for the continental competition, set to begin the next day.
The one unlucky player who will not participate at the competition is Jacques Zoua. His name was originally on the list of 23 selected players for the AFCON, but was finally dropped after CAF found an irregularity with his identity. He apparently had participated in 2 continental competitions, with 2 different ages (born in 1989 and 1991).
Franck Bagnack who was initially dropped off the list, was thus called to camp.
