Floyd Mayweather Witnesses His Friend Commit Murder/Suicide

Rage is such a terrible emotion. This man on the left, Earl Hayes, killed his wife Stephanie Moseley yesterday, and then shot himself. According to a new story on TMZ, one of his closest friends, the American professional boxer Floyd Mayweather (pictured above on the right), witnessed it all.

Floyd Mayweather was reeling last night because he was with his close friend, Earl when the guy pulled out a gun, shot his wife and then killed himself.

Sources tell TMZ rapper Earl Hayes called Floyd on Monday morning in a rage, over claims his wife -- VH1 star Stephanie Moseley -- had been unfaithful. According to sources, Earl said he was going to kill his wife. The champ was pleading with him to get a grip ... to no avail. Floyd will not say how much he saw, but he acknowledges he was a witness and heard everything.

Floyd's old friend 50Cent, with whom he hadn't been speaking for a while, sent in this message of support. From the message below, it seems like Floyd himself has had similar struggles with a cheating girlfriend.

Life is not the way it is supposed to be... It's the way it is. The way we cope with it is what makes the difference. Murdering suicide is cowardice to me. Infidelity is bad but should not lead to this.
