Chad National Team
The match began with alternating dominance, but Chad got ahead on the scoreboard using the counterattack that has characterized them during this competition.
Chad's goal number 2 was obtained through a penalty shot. Before finishing the first half, the Congolese managed to reduce the score also with a penalty shot.
In the second half, the Chadians increased the score, which left the match in their favor, but the Congo Brazzaville team fought, and scored a second goal, which gave them the opportunity to tie the game. Until the end of the match, the pressure was constant, but the Chadians held the scoreboard and managed to become the champions of the CEMAC Cup.
It should be recalled that the Intermediate Lions of Cameroon were eliminated at the semi-final stage of the competition.
The Equatorial Guinean Diuzer was named the best player of the tournament; Casimir Tinga was the top scorer with three goals, and the best goalkeeper was that of the Chadian team. The 10th edition of the CEMAC Cup will take place in 2015 in Chad.
