According to Mirror UK , the babies, delivered in a hospital in Romania, were not even born in the same year.
Giving birth to her first daughter in November 2014, the worried mother was forced to wait until January 2015 before the other baby decided to come along.
Doctors expected the twins to arrive on the same day, but were left confused after the mother's contractions stopped.
The first child was born two months earlier than the due date, but the second baby - despite being carried to term - weighed just 2.2lbs (963grams) on her arrival into the world.

Investigations into the bizarre birth have revealed that the twins were growing in two separate pockets of placenta, allowing one to be born without the other.
