Hmmm, in election matters, everyone fights dirty, I mean, below-the-belt blows. Read what opposition presidential candidate, and former president of Nigeria, General Buhari, said about Goodluck Jonathan's war against insurgency. It is from Naij.com
The presidential aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC), General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd), has voiced his concerns over the fact that Cameroonian and Chadian military forces are gaining the upper hand in the fight against militant group Boko Haram compared to the Nigerian military.“It’s a big disgrace for Nigeria.
It is now Cameroon and Chad fighting the insurgency more than Nigeria. We will build the capacity and Nigeria should be able to secure its territorial integrity,” he said.
Buhari, who spoke to international news agency Reuters, says Nigeria’s poor performance in the fight against insurgency is a disgrace.
Recall that troops from neighbouring Chad, Niger Republic and Cameroon, have been battling the terrorists even in Nigerian territory.
