Deadly Weekend On Roads: One of Takam II Dies After Car Accident

Takam II during a recent performance

The locality of Ebebda,in the Center region, has unfortunately been the scene of another ghastly car accident, after the one which led to the death of Françoise Foning, 3 weeks ago. This time, it is a member of the musical group, Takam II, who lost his life following a deadly crash.
Serge Takam, who joined the group 10 years ago, after the death of Jean, one of the founding members of the group, was driving to Bafoussam from Yaounde, with one of the group's dancers.
During an attempt to avoid a pothole along the road in Ebebda, Serge is said to have lost control of the vehicle.
The car somersaulted and ended in a ditch. Both occupants were rushed to the Yaounde General Hospital where Serge Takam succumbed to his injuries.
RIP
Can something be done about these potholes and other death traps on our roads.
Sigh

Weh! So sad that this group is hit by the death of two lead members in 10 years. I love their music

RIP! Are all these messages about the nature of the roads reaching the appropriate quarters?
