Wow! Cardinal Tumi's Mother Turns 117 This Month

117 years old, that's amazing!!! Cardinal Tumi and family are indeed blessed as i dont know how many families have members who get to live that long. And to honour Mami Tumi Catherine Lakha, a ceremony to celebrate her life will take place in Kikaikelahki(K4), Bui Division.

The idea of the celebration, according to Cardinal Tumi, comes from one of his nieces who lives in the United States. "Fidelia had the idea. This is my direct niece. She is about 50 years old, and she lives in the United States, where she works. As an individual, I did not organise anything. Fidelia suggested and we the rest of the family were not against, he assured. This will be an opportunity to celebrate the life, and also death,"

The Cardinal lost one of his brothers recently aged 82, he was buried on December 12 2014 in Kumbo.
Mami Catherine Lakha birthed 12 in all, 3 of them are still alive.
