Financial Allocations Have Been Paid to Teachers-Researchers of All State Universities' - Minister of Higher Education

            

Financial allocations in view of modernising Cameroon's 8 state Universities and granted quarterly to all teachers-researchers, have been paid for the 3rd quarter of 2014. The minister of Finance on Tuesday December 2, 2014, settled, by an endowment of FCFA 742,555,000, operations relating to the payment of the research allowance through bank transfer.

This amount completed yesterday, brings the overall financial allocations which started on November 4, 2014, for the 3rd quarter of 2014, to FCFA 2 274,350,000.

This information is contained in a note signed by the Minister of Higher Education, Jacques Fame Ndongo on December 3, 2014.

The note further states:

"As concerns the 4th quarter, the Minister of Finance has signed on 10 November 2014, the decision No014/5086/D/MINFI/SF/DGB/DPC to authorise the payment of funds relating thereto. The commitment certificate has been validated by the Sub-Department of the Financial Control of the Ministry of Finance on 22 November 2014 and forwarded yesterday to the technical services of the Directorate General of Treasury, for further proceedings."
