Seven Months After Foning's Death, Gustav Ebanda is Elected Mayor ofDouala V

The new Mayor of Wouri V, was voted this afternoon, Wednesday August 05, 2015. 

Gustave Ebanda (also Traditional Ruler of Ngombe Bassa village in Douala), was unanimously voted by the CPDM and SDF councillors of the municipality.

Mayor Gustave Ebanda, former 1st Deputy Mayor,  had been acting Mayor, since the death of
Francoise Foning in January 2015.

The election was chaired by the Senior Divisional Officer for Wouri, in the presence of CPDM Central Committee Delegation, led by Jacques Fame Ndongo , and SDF 1st Vice President, Joshua. 

 SDF councillor Carlos Ngualem, was elected 6th Deputy Mayor.
