According to 'Le Messager' newspaper, Tuesday August 18, 2015 edition, when the 'bensikineurs' were stopped in their tracks by security personnel, the men declared their mission. To thank authorities of the institution for admitting one of theirs, an underprivileged young man, with no 'godfathers', in a country where bribery and corruption are rife.
They did not return empty handed, the director of ENAM Toussaint Linus Mendjana gave them some money for fuel, in appreciation of their gesture.
