SME Bank Goes Operational in Cameroon

The promise made by the Head of State during the Agro-pastoral show in 2011, has been fulfilled.
The Bank for Small and Medium-size Enterprises, has opened its doors in Nlongkak, Yaounde, today Monday July 20, 2015. At 10am precisely, the first customers opened the pioneer bank accounts,
which will offer them opportunities not available from the traditional banks. Opportunities such as lower interest rates on loans.
The bank will render them more competitive, and foster the creation of more SMEs. It should be noted that SMEs account for roughly 85% of Cameroon's economy.
The bank which has a FCFA 10 billion capital, is run by Agnes Ndoumbe Mandeng.
