A new draft bill prescribes the death penalty as punishment for anyone who commits a terrorist act, or is an accomplice. The bill equally penalises those found guilty of funding terrorist activities, recruiting, supporting or acclaiming terrorist activities, and money laundering.
The bill was defended by the Minister of State, Minister of Justice and Keeper of the Seals, Laurent Esso on monday December 1 2014, before the Constitutional Laws Committee of the National Assembly with Vice Chairperson, Hon Mbiam Emmanuel, another draft bill on security but this time around on the Suppression of Acts of Terrorism.
In the same vein, several other bills were defended at the National Assembly last week which authorise the President of the Republic to ratify the African Union Convention on the Prevention and Combating of Terrorism.

Sorry my dear, found ur comment quite harsh, that's why I took it off.
Terrorism is extreme n should be be dealt with accordingly
Paper laws indeed. who are those that perpetuate such acts if not those hoodlums and scoundrels in official regalia. That is another tool to sieve political antagonist and the-throne-lookers. such laws must have been spurred by individuals suspected to have been involved in such. But we won't hear of it as long as they are within the inner cabal
