Waitress Receives $350 Tip After Serving Athlete

Wow...he should come to Cameroon and start dashing waiters and waitresses money mehn...given the kind of meager stipends they earn as salaries. This former athlete Chad 'Ochocinco' Johnson left a huge $351(FCFA 175,000 of my math isn't failing me) tip for a waitress. He then proceeded to announce it on twitter.
I know it's not news, but why I put this up, was to ask you guys a question. Is it right to make public random acts of kindness? What of the bible verse that says the right hand shouldn't know what the left is doing.
Or is it ok to broadcast a good deed to the world in order to encourage others to do so as well.
What are your thoughts on this?

Yes Moity I think it is good to let people know about a good deed someone has done. A good deed is like a candle light in a dark. We hear more about bad and terrible deeds. Good deed like this one for me is a must tell. Waiters most often have to deal with mean and demanding clients
