List of Civil Servants Invited By Minister of Public Service to ClarifyTheir Administrative Status

As you must be aware, the minister of Public and Administrative Reform, has published a list of 10,000 civil servants last August 19, 2015. These civil servants are now expected to go to the Human Resource Departments of their ministries of origin, with documents clarifying their administrative status. The initial deadline of August 27, 2015, was extended by one week.

See Six-Legged Goat Born in Kenya

Isn't this unbelievable ? A goat with six legs was born in Kenya recently. The kid has two legs in front and four behind. 

The owner of the goat in Muzuwerani Kwa Ndomo, Kilishi County, says 

"The goat has given birth twice before to normal twins. However, when it came to the third delivery, I was shocked to see the kid having six legs and the reproductive organ located beneath the legs.It uses the same organ to pass both urine and excrement."

Fans of the Burkinabe tv series, 'Les Bobodiouf' (made popular by comedians Souke and Siriki), will miss Tonton Brama, who played the role of the father of two girls. 

The actor, whose real name was Andre Bougouma, died last week on August 14, 2015. 

Born on August 10, 1950, he died in Bobo-Dioulasso, just four days after his 65th birthday.

Afrique Media Henceforth Broadcasting From Malabo and N'Djamena

    

Afrique Media seems to be finding a way to defy the one month suspension of the channel, by the National Communication Council. The Pan African channel whose Yaounde and Douala offices have been sealed, informs it's viewers that they have been broadcasting since this morning August 12, 2015, from Malabo in Equatorial Guinea,and N'Djamena in Tchad. However, there will be no debate

Wouri SDO Supervises Closure of Afrique Media Office in Douala

         

The Douala office of Afrique Media has been sealed today Wednesday August 12, 2015, after a previous attempt yesterday afternoon was blocked by a crowd. The Senior Divisional Officer for Wouri Division, Naseri Paul Bea, personally supervised the exercise.

He called on security forces to be vigilant and be on the watch out for any new premises where the channel might attempt to broadcast.

NCC Seals Afrique Media

The National Communication Council, has sealed the premises of the Pan-African channel, Afrique Media in Yaounde. Armed with the press release sanctioning the measure, by the Vice President of the National Communication Council, Police Commissioner Evelyn Ngoe Besumbu, proceeded to seal the building yesterday August 08, 2015, in the afternoon. This was in the presence of the Director of Afrique Media, Gustave Sing. 

The National Communication Council last month slammed Afrique Media a one month suspension, and two of its journalists, Juliana Magne Tadda and Bachir Ladan, for professional misconduct.

Remember the teenage girls who were arrested last week in possession of suicide bomb vests? Well ongoing investigations show that the girls are from Burkina Faso, and were recruited to wreck havoc in Cameroon.

Pregnant Woman Dies While Travelling on Train

       

A pregnant woman died recently while travelling on a train from Mesongo, to Edea in the Sanaga Maritime division. 

The lady, name gotten as Ngono Ngah Marie, 22, is said to have collapsed suddenly and died onboard the train. Her corpse is at the Edea District Hospital mortuary. Meanwhile the Divisional Officer for the Sanaga Maritime has ordered an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
