Fans of the Tv channel in Douala, some inhabitants of the Ndogbong neighbourhood, and some members of staff, yesterday August 10, 2015, prevented 3 Police Commissioners from sealing the Douala Bureau of Afrique Media.
Cameroon-Info.Net quotes Jules Njawe, an adviser of the C.E.O of Afrique Media, as saying the
Police arrived without members of the National Communication Council, without the administrative authority, and with no legal backing.
The Police thus reportedly left the premises without performing the duty for which they came.
The Yaounde bureau was sealed on August 06, 2015. The N.C.C slammed Afrique Media a one-month suspension for unprofessional conduct.
The channel however has been defying the sentence as it continues broadcasting.
