CAF Gives Morocco Deadline For Hosting Of Nations Cup

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) says Morocco has until November 8, 2014 deadline to clarify its position on hosting the Africa Cup of Nations next January.Morocco had asked CAF to postpone the tournament due to the outbreak of Ebola virus in some parts of the continent.

But CAF has rejected this request, stating that the January 17 to February 8, 2015 date will be maintained.

In a twisted turn of events, one young form five student of Lycee de Ngoa Ekelle, Yaounde, was shot dead Sunday night, when himself and two brothers came to the rescue of their aunt. According to reports, the unfortunate young boy came alongside his mother and two brothers, to the rescue of his aunt, a police Commissioner residing in Odja, Yaounde.

Another Deadly Accident, 6 Members of One Family Dead

OMG ! Another Deadly Accident On the Yaounde Obala Highway, this morning. 6 people of the same family have died in a car accident at Efok, along the Yaounde Obala highway, or, the Yaounde- Bamenda road, if you're not familiar with the area. The private car which was carrying members of the same family, came face to face with a lorry. Result, a man, his wife, two children and two in-laws perished on the spot. Reports say the private car is unrecognizable

Creation Of Driving Schools Suspende For One Year In Cameroon

No more new driving schools for at least one year! The creation of new driving schools has been suspended for one year to push proprietors to legalize their structures. Close to 40 % of driving schools are said to be operating clandestinely and in non conformity with the rules regulating the sector. Many do not have licenses, while some are operating on borrowed licenses.

The minister of Transport, Robert Nkili announced this measure yesterday after a meeting with proprietors of driving schools and trade unionists. He said it is meant to curb the rising spate of road accidents, 80 % of which are caused by human error

Fuel Scarcity In Maroua, Even Zoa Zoa Don Expensive

There is an acute fuel scarcity right now in the Far North region. Even the imported fuel from neighboring Nigeria known as Zoa Zoa, has become so scarce and so expensive. A liter of Zoa Zoa which used to cost 450cfa frs, now sells at 800cfa frs. The closure of the border with Northern Nigeria, is the reason for this scarcity. A joint ministerial order reestablishing air, land and sea transport between Nigeria and Cameroon is yet to be implemented.
Another item which has also become scarce is the cotton seed oil, "Diamaor". A bottle which used to cost 1100cfa frs, is now 1500cfa frs. The oil is said to be scarce and costly due to a shortage of plastic bottles
This isnt good at all guys, cos the Christmas period will come with additional price hikes. People go cope so?

it was gathered that when Kayode saw the wife identified as Fumilayo, he never envisaged that the man with her was his friend called Mufutau but after a closer look, he noticed that the man was Mufutau and he slapped him twice before Mufutau retaliated.

As the men were fighting, Funmilayo also tore the clothes of the other woman for having the effrontry to date her husband. The women were said to have torn their clothes to shreds and left the hotel in shame as they booed each other

The fight among the four came to an abrupt end when the barman, receptionist, and customers blamed all for not being sincere and trustworthy to their wives and husbands.

The barman told Kayode that he was guilty of the same offence for bringing another man’s wife to the hotel. The barman said that what occurred was a nemesis or law of distributional justice.
